The Platinum Spatula

Joel Weston hosts the first summer 2009 intern show. Produced by Wes Rapaport, Camille Smura and Joel Weston.
Today - I tried Final Cut. I mean, I've seen it before and clicked a few buttons around, but the more complicated stuff you try to do on final cut - the harder it gets. The project I was working on was a highlight for a Theater show. The problem was that I had no idea how to get Final Cut going and I couldn't find the "Title" box so I could make titles and credits! Also, the person who made the show had three guests and a mini-show in the middle so I had to run through the whole thirty minute show and watch all of it to find the clips of all of the guests and the show. In the end, it looked like a cat had come and did the cha cha cha on the keyboard and then left. :(
That's why I'm "re-learning" final cut tomorrow.
On the other hand, we finished our first show a few days back. It went really well; I especially love the set (even though it took forever to make and then put away). The only problem was that we ran behind schedule and one of the pans didn't heat up. But other than that, the show went really well. I'm really excited for our second show about Summer Activites that we're filming this Thursday.
That's all for now:
